A Better Home

I want to have a better home

Than this old aching body.

I want to wear a pure, white robe,

Not something drab or shoddy.

So, I'll try to please the Lord

Through all the coming years,

Though oft there be some heartaches,

Though oft there be some tears.

Though oft there be some burdens,

Though oft there be some trials

I know more often there will be

Much joy and many happy smiles.
