You Called Me

You called me through ethereal time

Long e'er my waking days began.

Had I not heard 'twould been a crime

Greater than the magnitude of man.

Because I heard your beck'ning call,

Though, of your call you were unaware,

We have gained the wherewithal,

Pitfalls of our future days to dare.

Then, let us walk the road, together,

And share life's sweetest mystery;

Upward, t'ward the lands of nether,

As we climb the hill of history.

Ev'ry step, which we take,

Will write the story of our life.

Many will be the chapters we make,

With you beside me as my wife.
