Light of My Life

She's the light of my life

And the throb of my heart,

My true, loving wife;

We never shall part.

As long as God lends to us

Breath and consciousness,

We'll feel the soft winds

Of true happiness.

Then, as the years

Grow shorter and few

There'll be no great fears

Of what may ensue.

We'll cling to each other,

As we have in the past.

Our love will not smother;

It was made firm, to last.
